Technology

How do you currently track job applications?

The free ATS assessment is a 12-question quiz that scores your hiring maturity across technology, process, analytics, collaboration and candidate experience. It is for recruiters, founders and HR leads deciding whether their current tracking setup is holding hiring back.

How the assessment works

1. Answer 12 questions about how you track applications, standardise your process, receive applications, measure performance, collaborate, keep candidates informed, screen, schedule and count the tools you use.

2. Each answer is scored from 0 to 3, from ad-hoc methods such as email and spreadsheets up to structured, measured processes.

3. Scores are averaged within each of the five areas, then combined into an overall result.

4. You see your level (Reactive, Emerging, Advanced or Optimized), a breakdown by category and recommendations based on your weakest areas.

The five areas it measures

Each question belongs to one area, so the breakdown shows where to focus first.

Technology

How you track applications and how many tools your team juggles.

Process

How standardised hiring is, how candidates apply, and how you screen and schedule.

Analytics

Whether you measure recruiting performance and know your cost-per-hire.

Collaboration

How recruiters and hiring managers share feedback and decisions.

Candidate experience

How quickly you respond and how candidates learn their status.

Who should take it

The quiz suits teams still tracking applicants in email and spreadsheets, teams outgrowing a basic tool, and teams that want a neutral baseline before choosing software. It takes about 5 minutes and works whatever you use today.

What to do with your result

Fix the weakest category first. If your score points to manual tracking, slow scheduling or no reporting, an applicant tracking system can cover several of those gaps together. Jatura's AI applicant tracking system scores each applicant against the role's criteria with a plain-English breakdown, and you can import candidates and jobs from CSV on any plan.

ATS assessment FAQ

What is the ATS assessment?

It is a free 12-question quiz that rates how mature your hiring process is across five areas: technology, process, analytics, collaboration and candidate experience. You get an overall level and a breakdown by category.

How long does it take?

About 5 minutes. There are 12 multiple-choice questions, one at a time.

How is the result calculated?

Each answer is worth a score from 0 to 3. Answers are averaged within each of the five areas, and the area averages are averaged into an overall score that maps to one of four levels: Reactive, Emerging, Advanced or Optimized.

Do I need to be a Jatura customer?

No. The assessment is free and works for any hiring process, whatever software you use today.

What should I do with my results?

Use the weakest category as your first improvement target. If the results show manual tracking, scattered tools or slow scheduling, an applicant tracking system can address several of them at once.

What does Jatura cost if I decide to try it?

Starter is $79 per month (5 active jobs), Pro is $179 per month (15 active jobs) and Scale is $379 per month (unlimited jobs). Every paid plan includes unlimited team members and a 14-day free trial.
